Hi! My name is Beth Mikolajczyk (Mik-o-lie-zick) and I am the DeMasi Middle Green House counselor for grades 6-8. My goal is to help students have the best possible experience while at DeMasi Middle School. I often tell students that I am their advocate at DeMasi. I am here to help them find assistance in their academics, help them engage in more social connections, and listen to student concerns while counseling.
For 2024-2025 I will be leading our DMS Climate Team. This year our school will begin the three year process of taking part in PBIS: Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports. I am so excited to take part in this new program to help recognize all of the students who demonstrate each of our elementary CARES principals each day. Their efforts should be celebrated!
I have been at DeMasi since 2002 mostly teaching math in 7th grade Green and Red House (with a few years in 6th). I became a counselor in 2018 and I have embraced this new change. I love this school and the people in it. I hope to share my enthusiasm for DeMasi with your child so that they can get the most possible from these three short years.
Please always feel free to call/email me to reach out. The sooner I know about a concern you're facing the sooner we can work together to help alleviate any stress your child is experiencing. We may not always get it right the first time, but we will keep trying until we have a positive result.
