Like many of you I was glued to my screen the afternoon of January 6, 2021 watching images come from the US Capitol building. I have young children and I wanted to convey the serious nature of the day but not scare them with the images that I saw. At that point I started researching online and reached out to my fellow Evesham counselors as well as our leadership to find articles that educate us on how to continue this discussion. As always and especially during times of unrest, our kids are best served by adults who listen and have an open mind to hear their thoughts.
