DeMasi Schools

Hey! I am Matthew Robinson and I am the DeMasi Red House counselor for grades 6-8. My goal is to support DeMasi families, students, and staff in a collaborative effort to provide your child with the Social-Emotional tools that will lead them towards lifelong success. I am passionate about helping students foster a love for learning by guiding and teaching them how to remove some of the psychological barriers that prevent them from reaching their fullest potential. I work collaboratively with all stakeholders in an effort to achieve this goal.

I have been a school counselor for 12 years and this coming year will be my 13th year. I started my journey as a high school counselor at Delran High School. Since that was a one year temporary position, I spent the following 5 years at Pennsville Middle School in Salem County. When my boss retired, I moved, with my wife and beagle, to Eugene, Oregon where I served as an elementary school counselor for another 5 years. After having our daughter, Eleanor, we moved back east and I landed a job at DeMasi Middle School last school year! I feel honored to work at such a dedicated school and I wholeheartedly believe each and every student will graduate from DeMasi feeling supported, cared for, loved, and ready to take on high school. We are a great team and we love what we do. My door is always open to you and I look forward to another wonderful year! Let's do this!
